With the wind slowly backing all day, port was the favored tack for both races. Yet the smart move and had I been alert to the back, would have been to take a starboard hitch to the east on both starts & leeward roundings taking advantage of fresher air on the left. Other than that, I can think of little we could have done better in these relatively light conditions, with an adverse current on the windward legs. Our Pfactor average regarding TgtBS was in the mid-nineties all day.

Interestingly, in the last race only a minute 12 seconds separated 2nd, 3rd, 4th & 5th places. Finishing in 4th, we were 29 seconds out of second and only 6 seconds behind Salud in 3rd.
